The refresher training course provides physicians with the opportunity to maintain their current as ATLS certified provider status. An ATLS training is valid for four years.
In order to qualify for an ATLS Refresher course, your current provider certification must not be expired more than 6 months. Physicians whose certification is expired for longer than 6 months are required to complete a full Student Course.

The Student Refresher Course is open to physicians who have successfully completed an ATLS Student Course within the previous four years and whose current provider certification is less than 6 months expired.
